Dear Pastor Donnie,

I just wanted to thank you and your church for your prayers and for the prayer cloth

It meant so much to me to receive your letter

I just wanted to let you know that Zoe is at home now after 2 months of being in the hospital and having surgery on her heart

I got to hold her a few days ago. She did not have the feeding tube, oxygen, or the tube in her heart to drain off the fluid. She weights 7 lbs

She still has a long way to go, but we are trusting God every day. We just take it one day at a time Thank You again!

Your Sister in Christ
Maudie

On the Road - Submitted by Belle

*At work, I placed some tapes of sermons on the counter, to be taken by anyone who might want one. My Pastor Donnie Hartzog gave these tapes to me. When the tapes were gone, I didn't think much of it again

A truck driver who visits my store, came in to tell me that he had picked up a girl at a truck stop in Great Falls, Montana, who had a serious drug and alcohol problem. He informed me that she was sitting out in the cab of his truck. He told me that since picking her up, he had tried to talk to her, and started praying for her. He pulled over to a rest stop where they continued to pray, and read from The Word. The girl pulled a tape from her pocket, which she had picked up and stuck in her pocket while in Great Falls. By the time the two had arrived in Newport, the girl was sobbing and wanting desperately to turn her life over to God, and be forgiven for her sins. That’s where I come in.... oddly enough, when the truck driver came into my store, he told me what had happened, and said he had come to me for my help, since he knew I was a Woman of God. I went out to the truck with the driver. He opened the door and tried to get the girl to step out. I could hear her crying inside. Broken ankle and all, I climbed up into the cab. She asked for my help, feeling that she didn't know what to say in her prayer pleading for forgiveness and help. There, with Jesus, we sat and prayed, as her tape of a sermon played in the background. After some time, I recognized with pure amazement that the voice on the tape was my pastor, Donnie Hartzog. One of those tapes that I had placed on the counter some time before, had traveled to Great Falls, and had ended up in the pocket of this girl. God saw fit to bring her back to Newport, where we prayed together the sinner’s prayer. God is good!

Just last Sunday, Pastor was talking about the unseen and miraculous miracles that the Lord has made. Frequently we don't even see the miracles, or the result of miracles, from a kind word, or... the tape of the sermon I sat on that counter. I am indeed blessed to have been a part of it, and that God saw fit to bring this miracle full circle, where I could see it for myself. Let us remember that the small things that we do in the name of God, have tremendous results.

I pray that I may continue to do God's will, and that I may testify to others of his amazing greatness!

AMEN
